What is a PDF sewing pattern?

Unlike traditional tissue paper patterns, a digital PDF pattern is purchased online, dowloaded to your computer and printed on your home printer or at a copy shop. Instead of waiting for a physical copy to be mailed to you, the PDF version will be instantly accessible. For further guidance using your PDF files, see our Printing & Assembling guide.

How do I download my sewing pattern?

Upon placing your order, your pattern will be available for download instantly. A link to download your files will be sent to your email or you may access them directly from the order confirmation page. You may download your files as many times as you would like, there is not limit. If you encounter any technical issues, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.

What files will I receive?

Moda Poiesis patterns include four separate files:

  • Print at home : An A4 / US letter size file for printing your pattern on a home printer and assembling in tiled pieces.
  • Large Format : An A0 (84.1 x 118.9 cm / 33.11 x 46.81 inches) size file for printing on a large format printer, at a copy shop or sending to an online service.
  • Projector : A projector file if you prefer to project your pattern directly onto fabric.
  • Detailed written instructions with visuals and a link to a YouTube tutorial if available.

Do I need a special program to print my pattern?
